The collection of Streekmuseum Krimpenerwaard consists of everyday objects from the 19th and early 20th century. See the objects used for things like housekeeping, working in the country, various industries and crafts. The stable, kitchen, showroom and cellar are furnished exactly as they were in those days. Listen to stories about inland navigation, bricklaying and rope-making. There is even a small classroom where you can sit down at school and write with a pencil and slate. In the attic, changing exhibitions take place frequently.
If you want to get an impression of what life was like in the region 200 to 100 years ago, a visit to the Regional Museum is certainly worthwhile.
