Pick-your-own garden Het Platteland (The Countryside) - Putten
At Pluktuin Het Platteland, you can harvest your own vegetables and take them home. That means a lovely bowl of homemade veggie soup in the evening, made with ingredients you picked yourself. How fun is that?
There’s a sign at the entrance showing which fruits and vegetables are ready to harvest that day. The garden provides you with a basket, scissors and a small knife. You just need to bring your own packaging. Red farmer’s handkerchiefs are used to show which parts of the vegetable garden or fruit trees are open for picking.
Are you more into flowers than veggies? No problem. Surprise your partner with a hand-picked bouquet – guaranteed to bring a smile. Or treat yourself, because why not? This is your sign to do something spontaneous and sweet.
