The Olieslagerspolder, near Sluis, is a historic 171-hectare polder. Created in the Napoleonic era, this area was reclaimed where the Coxysche Gat and the Zwin met. Despite a flood in 1808, the polder was quickly restored. Initially, it was located directly on the Zwin, and Sluis was only accessible via a ferry. Now the area is bordered by the Zeedijk and Oude Zeedijk, with iconic farms such as De Droogbloemzolder and De Vingerling. A polder full of history and character, in the middle of the Zeeland landscape.
