Old buildings on Julianalaan - Kaag
The Julianalaan is an old avenue that crosses almost the entire island. There are numerous old houses, buildings and farms along this avenue.
Coming off the boat, you are directly opposite the ferry house. As you cycle further along this street, you come across the impressive church. This church is dedicated to Mary Magdalene and has stood on this spot since 1873. Passing fairy-tale houses, you continue cycling along the narrow Julianalaan. In fact, the avenue is so narrow that it is stipulated by law that vehicles wider than 2.20 m are prohibited here.
