Beautiful nature with swamp forest, ponds, reed beds and ditches make up nature reserve Botshol. It was created by peat excavation, resulting in the ponds Grote Weije and Kleine Weije. Because of the peace and clean water, spoonbills and cormorants nest in a colony here. The fragrant night orchid also grows here.
