Learn more about this region's nature at the Nature and Environment Centre De IJzeren Man. The building is free to visit. With all kinds of activities, such as discovery trails and safaris, you can learn all about nature. Take a look through the microscope, for example.
The exhibition hall displays the different biotopes. Showcases contain stuffed animals and stones and you can see the fish from the Tungelroysebeek in the aquariums. In the petting area, you can touch the animals! So you will soon know how soft an owl is or how prickly a hedgehog's spines really are.
With puzzles, a sand table and many more interactive games, you will soon be a real expert.
