Museum Villa Mondrian - Winterswijk
In his teens, when Piet Mondrian was still searching for his own identity and signature, the (later world-famous) artist lived in Winterswijk for a while. The permanent collection coming-of-age at the Museum Villa Mondriaan in Winterswijk deals specifically with this period in his life.
Alongside masterpieces by Mondrian, this museum also shows works by other artists, who, like the young Mondrian, are searching for their own signature and are in the turbulent period of their development.
