Douwe Egberts built the first factory on this piece of historic Joure. You can still smell the coffee here. Especially if you grind it yourself! In the 19th century the Frisian clocks were sold as sweet rolls. See how much craftsmanship they are made with. Don't forget to have a cup of fresh coffee in Museumcafé De Túnkeamer.
