Museum Bevrijdende Vleugels is dedicated to Operation Market Garden, one of the most important military events in Dutch history. In September 1944, the Allies landed troops and equipment on the site right next to the museum. Discover here the story that would lead to the liberation of the southern Netherlands. See anti-aircraft guns, gliders, jeeps, cannons, miniatures, tracked vehicles, tanks, planes and Zündapp engines. Or fly yourself in a historic aircraft in the flight simulator room!
