The Sleeping March was originally a painting by Hendrick ter Brugghen from 1629. In collaboration with the Central Museum Utrecht, the Utrecht artist collective De Strakke Hand created a 12-meter-high version on a wall at Westplein. The Sleeping March on the wall is part of the Caravaggio Project of the Central Museum Utrecht, with which the works of Utrecht masters from the Golden Age make the city a bit more beautiful.
