In 1798, P. Dam had the mill and the miller's house built. In 1963, the mill was moved 25 metres during an extensive restoration. It now stands against the northern winter dike of the Meuse. From the mill you have a great view of the nearby weir in the Maas and Lith's belt mill. The mill is still in regular use, grinding flour for cattle feed. As a technical peculiarity, this mill has two rear mills instead of one. By means of an extra cog on the upper wheel and a spindle with track wheel, two grinding clutches are driven above hell.
The mill is kept running by volunteers and therefore has no fixed turning days. When the mill is running, you are welcome to visit it.
