Mill of Havelte - Havelte
On this site, there was an eight-sided upper mill without a tower until 1873, which was converted into a tower mill in that year. This mill burned down on 20 March 1914 due to lightning strikes. The current mill is from Wapse. The condition of the mill had been poor since 1950. In 1951, a hammer mill was commissioned and the mill was restored internally. Further restorations of the mill took place in 1956 and in 1976.
