The mill, located between Leuth and Millingen aan de Rijn, was damaged by fire in 1938 and has since been restored. The mill was restored in 1965 and 1977. In the meantime, the mill was used as a residence. During the last restoration, in which Momumentenzorg, the municipality of Ubbergen, the province of Gelderland and the owner contributed financially, the mill received its current name. The mill is now run by a volunteer miller.
