Miljoenenlijn Station Wijlre-Gulpen - Wijlre
The first station in Wijlre-Gulpen was opened on October 23, 1853. This station was located on the railroad line between Aachen and Maastricht. This station building was demolished in 1959, after which a smaller building came in its place in the architectural style that was widely used for station buildings in the 1950s-1960s: the standard Vierlingsbeek type.
The station is now used only for the nostalgic Million Line. Get on here and travel by old-fashioned steam locomotive to Schin op Geul and Valkenburg, or the other way to Eys-Wittem, Simpelveld and Kerkrade.
