The Market Hall is the first indoor market floor in the Netherlands. A place where good food and unique living come together in a spectacular arc. The Market Hall is located near the Rotte, the place where Rotterdam was founded in the year 1270. During the preparation of the construction they found all kinds of medieval objects that you can still see from the escalators and in the parking garage of the Market Hall.
Artist Arno Coenen created for the inside the largest work of art in the world: the Horn of Plenty, the horn of plenty. Now also known as the 'Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam'.
