Lunchroom Bijzonder - De Lier

Lunchroom Bijzonder is a spacious and inviting place with a glass front that opens onto the terrace. Perfect for sitting in the shade on the edge of the cosy shopping street in De Lier. From Monday to Friday, you are served here by an enthusiastic and hospitable team, including people with a mental disability who have their daytime activities here.

Enjoy the atmosphere and delicious home-made dishes on the terrace or inside in the lunchroom. Taste the delicious apple pie, home-made Westland tomato soup or other lunch dishes, prepared with as much fresh local produce as possible. For instance, the coffee beans come from day care centre ‘t Nederhofje in Honselersdijk, which makes the coffee extra tasty!

In the lunchroom, you will also find a special little shop selling trendy homemade gifts at friendly prices. These gifts are made in our own day-care studio ‘Bijzonder atelier’ or come from other day-care centres in the area. So you can take away a unique gift as well as a delicious lunch!

The spacious layout inside makes the lunchroom wheelchair- and walker-friendly, allowing you to experience a peaceful atmosphere during your visit. Electric bikes can be charged at the charging point at the rear of the premises (access via Sportlaan).
