Lintparkje Vijverlaan along the old railway line - Wildervank
The Lintparkje (ribbon park) is located along Vijverlaan, on the spot where the old STAR railway line once ran. This small, elongated park winds around a pond and offers a quiet place to take a stroll or simply enjoy the surroundings.
A special part of the park is the former STAR station of Wildervank, a tangible reminder of the time when trains still ran here daily. The tracks are still there and you might just see an old-fashioned steam locomotive chugging through the landscape: the STAR museum steam locomotive is still in use here.
In the middle of the park there is also a charming bandstand that is regularly used for outdoor concerts by local music associations.
