Linden Estate - Schalkhaar

City and country come together on the beautiful dairy farm, with a vision, of Sanne and Christian Klein Koerkamp. On their city farm with a unique VrijLevenStal, they keep forty Fleckvieh cows. The cows determine their own rhythm and have free access to the milking robot in the round barn, as well as to the pasture and rotating massage brushes. Besides being a paradise for the animals, it also uses innovative developments that reduce nitrogen emissions.

The land around the farm is owned by the IJssellandschap Foundation and is rich in flora and fauna. There is a beautiful fruit orchard, a maize maze, and a lovely farm shop. Here you can buy organic meat from their own cows, raw milk, dairy products, cheeses, and other delicacies from their own farm or neighbours in the area.
