Kunstfort Vijfhuizen - Vijfhuizen
The beautifully located Fort near Vijfhuizen is a centre for contemporary art on a historical location at the edge of the polder. The fort is part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam and is Unesco World Heritage. On the outside terrain there are permanent works of art to be seen on your own. It is also possible to get guided tours of Kunstfort, which you can request at Restaurant 't Fort, for example in combination with a hearty lunch. The historic building and various interior spaces can be viewed during a guided tour through History or a guided tour through Art.
