Krommerijnpark - Utrecht
The Krommerijnpark is small in size but large in content. The Krommerijnpark, which is situated along the Kromme Rijn in Utrecht, is not an ordinary park. You'll find forts of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, a beautiful play forest and various works of art. There is even a Rietveldbank! Because the Utrecht designer and architect Gerrit Rietveld originally designed the bank for the Calvé factory, it is also called the Calvébank. From the bench, you have a beautiful view of two Rietveld houses on the Breitnerlaan number 9 & 11, which were designed in the same period as the bench.
