Klaver & Papaver (Clover & Poppy) - Oosterwolde

Klaver & Papaver is Lara Aldewereld's flower nursery, picking garden and big dream in Oosterwolde. Lara started her career as a nature photographer. Over the years, she discovered that it became increasingly difficult to spot her favourite subjects: butterflies and dragonflies. Even in water- and flower-rich areas, she hardly found the graceful insects anymore.

Lara, who had always loved flowers, decided to start growing flowers herself in the huge garden at her own old farmhouse. This eventually resulted in the small-scale, sustainable flower nursery and picking garden Klaver & Papaver. The special cut flowers are grown in full soil, without artificial fertilisers or pesticides, in complete symbiosis with nature. Meanwhile, her garden is a paradise for butterflies, dragonflies and bees.

From June to October, you can pick your own bouquet of seasonal flowers in the picking garden. At the self-service flower station, you will find a folder with picking tips, scissors, twine and packing materials. You can pay using a QR code or in cash, even if no one is present at the time.
