Keverberg castle is a so-called 'motte castle' on the Maas and used to be owned by Count Kessel. In its long history, dating back to about 950 AD, the castle has experienced quite a lot; it was partly burned down during the Second World War. The ruin has survived and in 2015, the Foundation Keverberg castle beautifully rebuilt the castle. Now it's a hotspot to take a break from your cycling trip.
