A hidden gem in the woods between Best and Son & Breugel, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We are talking about the Joe Mann Pavilion. The warm, homely atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a delicious cup of coffee, lunch or a drink during a walk or bike ride.
This stylish and cosy meeting place has a spacious terrace surrounded by green trees. Here you can savour delicious, freshly prepared, seasonal dishes while relaxing in the fresh forest air.
The pavilion is named after Joe Eugene Mann, an American soldier who lost his life during Operation Market Garden in 1944. He threw himself on an enemy grenade to save his comrades. For this heroic act, he was posthumously awarded the highest American military decoration, the Medal of Honor.
