What is The Land of Punch anyway? A campsite? A holiday park? An amusement park? Or a puppet theatre museum? The Land of Punch is it all! Everyone can have a great time here; sleep in a helicopter, a school bus, a rocket or on a pirate boat; and, of course, watch puppet theatre!
The theatre part of the Land of Jan Klaassen has been around since 1950. Founder of the Land of Jan Klaassen: Marius Prein, was a puppeteer himself for more than 60 years. After his death in 2012, he left a legacy of perhaps a thousand self-made puppets. The most extraordinary puppets and set pieces are on display at the Puppet Theatre Museum. The museum can be visited during park opening hours.
