This museum is located in the middle of the Haarlemmermeer Woods. It tells the story of the history of the Haarlemmermeer, from the first reclamation plans and the reclamation itself to all that followed.
Look around the market square where the smithy, the grocery shop, a bank building and a church give you a glimpse of daily village life in days gone by. The museum has a permanent collection and changing exhibitions.
A special feature of the museum is that guided tours especially for children are also given by children.
