Het Smaakmuseum (The Flavour Museum) - Odijk
In the Taste museum you get a guided tour through the museum garden. You get to know different plant varieties and historical vegetable and fruit varieties. See how a meal is created using preparation methods and cooking techniques from the 19th century. And of course you get to taste! During the tour you can try the ingredients, but also during the included lunch you can taste the historical flavours.
The tour starts at 11.30 and 13.00 and lasts about half an hour. Afterwards, you will have plenty of time to explore the garden at your leisure. Registration for the tour is necessary.
The Taste Museum is part of the Bijenakker, which is open all year round. Coffee and tea are available there on a self-service basis.
