Harmonium Museum - Barger-Compascuum
Jan Vos's parents bought a harmonium so that he could learn to play on it. But Jan was more interested in the construction. He learned to repair harmoniums and then put them in the shed, with a sheet over it for the dust. He became a member of the Harmonium Association Nederland, became secretary and collected them with the aim of setting up a museum. Now there is the museum with more than 250 harmoniums, 150 of which are on display.
