Grand café Het Oude Station - Dalfsen
On the railway line between Zwolle and Emmen stands Dalfsen's old station building. The exterior is still in the original state of the building designed in 1902. Architect Eduard Cuypers made the design. The inside is now lined by the cosy Grand Café Het Oude Station. You are welcome here for lunch, dinner, a cup of coffee or drinks. Be surprised by the excellent delicacies on the menu in the characteristic, nostalgic atmosphere of the station.
The Grand Café is located in a wooded area where it is lovely to cycle. Ten minutes' cycling away you will find the Rechterense Veld, a varied nature reserve with conifers, deciduous trees, heathland and Rechteren Castle. This was once a shifting sand area. The hills are still visible.
