In Gouda there were several plate factories. Among others Ivora, Zenith and Hollandia/Regina were located at the Kuiperstraat 22 to 28. Above the doors and windows you can still see Gouda pipes as ornaments. Gold Plate was produced in these plate factories. This is a collective name for glossy and matt glazed pottery.
