Geradts-Regout burial chapel - Posterholt
Following the example of Aerwinkel castle that Pierre Cuypers designed for Petrus Geradts, he also designed the family tomb chapel for the Geradts-Regout family. The burial chapel incorporates elements of Aerwinkel castle. It was built in 1865 in Posterholt and has national monument status.
Through a hatch at the front of the chapel, you enter the tomb with twelve niches. As far as we know, 11 of these niches are in use as resting places.
