The NCRV, or Dutch Christian Radio Association, began in 1924 with a clear mission: to inspire and connect through radio, with a focus on Christian values. Over the years, NCRV grew into a familiar name in Dutch living rooms. Who does not know the heartwarming stories of ‘Memories’, the unexpected encounters in ‘Man bijt Hond’, or the astute judgements of ‘De Rijdende Rechter’?
The NCRV building at Schuttersweg 10 in Hilversum is a piece of media history. This modernist 1950s building, designed by W.M. Dudok, was for many years the place where creative minds came together to make iconic radio and TV programmes.
The building is now home to media giant Talpa Network.
