Flax Museum It Braakhok - Ee
The doors of this unmanned museum are open daily, so you can just walk in. Mr Broersma gives you a warm welcome via a talking post and explains why the museum is called the 'Braakhok'. Flax was still grown in this region of Friesland until around 1960. Through the display cases with antique tools and signs with interesting facts, you can find out the whole story about the flax processing craft.
