Ferry service Horst-Zeewolde - Ermelo
The ferry service has been running between Strand-Horst and Zeewolde since 1993. There is room for 325 passengers and you get across in about 15 minutes. The ideal way for cyclists and pedestrians to cross the Veluwemeer!
The ferry operates on weekdays from 6.30am-6.10pm.
Saturdays: 8.20am-6.10pm.
Sundays and public holidays: 10am-6.10pm.
In July and August, the ferry departs and moors at junction 21 in Zeewolde instead of junction 45. This can be reached via 45-20-21 (or vice versa).
From 1 November to 1 March, the ferry service does not sail on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For current sailing times, check the website at the disembarkation point Veerdienst Zeewolde-Horst.
If you cycle the route when the ferry does not sail, you can detour from junction 07 via junctions: 09-82-11-29-23-22-21-20-45 or vice versa from junction 45 (18 km extra).
