In Wekerom, Gelderland, a special farm keeps calves in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way, without chemical pesticides in their diet. The meat is processed in their own butcher's shop and the maturing process is central for a delicious taste. The calves have plenty of space and freedom of movement outside and in the potting shed. The farm also has a 2.5-hectare vineyard with seven different grape varieties, mainly German and Swiss grapes. A visit to the vineyard is possible by appointment.
