Eskes Farm - Aalten
Farm Eskes is a Saxon farm and probably dates from the 18th or 19th century. As part of the estate and havezate 't Walfort, this historic farmhouse is a national monument. Since its construction the house has not been changed much, even the layout of the garden with its well has been beautifully preserved. It is assumed that materials from the demolished upper floor of 't Walfort were used in the construction. The oldest mention of havezate 't Walfort dates back to 1402!
