The palace, also known as Palais épiscopal de Lièges, is a symbolic building in the city of Liège, located on the Place Saint-Lambert. Before the current Palace of the Prince-Bishops, two structures were built.
The first was part of the fortification and the first wall of the city. It was destroyed in a fire in 1185. The second suffered the same fate in 1505. The building comprises two courtyards, the first of which is open to the public.
