Ecopark Het Groene Hart (The Green Heart) - Kampen

Het Groene Hart is a large park with lots of water, which in recent years has become a place with various recreational possibilities. Footpaths, new waterways and a multifunctional area make the park accessible to everyone. You can use the playground equipment and sports areas. There is also a deer park, petting zoo, skate park, dog park and a camper park nearby.

The park has been made car-free, allowing only existing organisations to access it by car. This provides a quiet and safe environment for cyclists and pedestrians.

Various organisations and associations are involved in the development of the Green Heart, including Cantecleer Children's Farm, Scouting Hanzeluiden, Nature Playground Kampen, Diving Team De Oester, and swimming association Deltasteur. Institutions such as Jehovah's Witnesses Kampen, Pigeon Club de Postduif, and Cultural stage ‘t Ukien have also contributed. This cooperation ensures that the park has become a versatile place for sports, nature and culture alike.
