The former water mill of Park Sonsbeek, the Begijnenmolen or also called Sint Agnietenmolen, now houses the Dutch Water Museum. The mill has been turning on the Sint Jansbeek since 1404. All that remains of the mill outside is the upper wheel and the accompanying water channel.
From the outside, the museum looks small, but nothing could be further from the truth: the mill building itself was not allowed to be expanded due to its status as a national monument, but the Water Museum continues underground! For young and old, there is plenty to discover about (drinking) water, because clean drinking water cannot be taken for granted. Will you go exploring too?
