Design Museum Den Bosch - 's Hertogenbosch
The Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch has been exhibiting design and styling since the 1980s. Since 2018, the museum has officially been renamed the Design Museum. Together with the Noordbrabants Museum, it is one of the largest museum buildings in the Netherlands.
The Museum of Modern Art combines a unique collection of ceramics and jewellery with surprising exhibitions of contemporary art and design. In changing presentations, you can enjoy work by Pablo Picasso, Lucio Fontana, Gijs Bakker and Hella Jongerius, among others. Dutch designers such as Bart Hess, Wieki Somers and Scholten & Baijings are also shown here. The exhibitions tell about the cultural significance and the role of design in the history, the present and the future.
