De Tulperij - Voorhout
Get off your bike at De Tulperij in Voorhout and take a look at the bulb farm. In spring, the bulbs are in bloom and you can't miss the colourful tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. In late summer - from mid-August onwards - the company is fully focused on dahlias. Be sure to take a look at the dahlia show garden then - there are as many as 650 different varieties to discover.
There are picking gardens for tulips and dahlias where you can compose and pick your own bouquet. You can find inspiration in the show gardens. There is also a shop full of souvenirs and regional products, great as a gift or just for yourself.
Feel like diving into flowers? Go on a real tulip or dahlia excursion (book in advance). De Tulperij is also fun to visit as a family outing. With a treasure hunt, even the youngest visitors can learn about the various flowers.
