De Leemputten in the woods of Dorst is a hidden gem. Once created as an excavation of loam from which bricks were made, in between a natural swimming pool, to eventually a large pond that has been returned to nature.
Nature has recovered beautifully here. It is a rugged area you can only get to via winding paths, but which is doubly worth visiting.
