Get on your bike on this electric ferry to cross De Grons between Gaastmeer and Nijhuizum. The crossing costs €1.50 and you can pay in cash or by QR code. The ferry can be used by pedestrians and wheel riders.

Please note! The Ferry does not operate all year round.

March & November: Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00-16.00
April & October: daily from 11.00-12.30 and 13.00-16.00.
May & September: daily 10am-12.30pm and 1pm-6pm.
June, July & August: daily from 10.00-12.30 ; 13.00-18.00 and 18.30-20.00.

Do you cycle when the ferry is not running? Then it's best to cycle round the Flakke Brekken and over Oudega using the following junctions:
