Country estate De Tempel - Rotterdam
Country estate De Tempel is one of the last preserved country estates on the outskirts of Rotterdam in Overschie. Located right on the river Schie, De Tempel is a characteristic example of an early 18th-century country estate. Various garden styles have been preserved here side by side. Wander along the centuries-old avenues, graceful bridges, past the coach house, the dovecote and the swan pond, while enjoying numerous birds singing loudly.
From April to October, volunteer foresters welcome you to the orchard on Sundays. At the information point, you can learn all about this special historical place. Need to relax after your walk or just catch up with friends? For a snack and drink, settle down at the food truck.
