The Corn Mill of Zuidzande is an eye-catcher in the Zeeland landscape. Built in 1874, this round stone bell mill on the Sluissedijk is full of history. It is one of the few mills in the Netherlands with a unique wooden hoop catch. After storm damage in 1968, the mill fell out of use, but thanks to restorations in 1981 and 2020, it is running again. Although there is no permanent miller, the mill remains an icon of Zuidzande and a beautiful place to admire. A must-see for lovers of history and authentic Zeeland charm!
