Coffeehouse De Oude Waal - Ooij
The cosy Coffeehouse De Oude Waal is located in the nature reserve De Ooijpolder, right across the lake Oude Waal. From the various terraces you have a beautiful view of the polder and the farmlands. In the distance, you can also see De Waalbrug and Nijmegen's St. Stevenskerk.
The menu features delicious, simple dishes prepared as locally as possible and using traditional methods. From the pesto with the bread, to the biscuit with the coffee; everything is made by the kitchen team themselves.
From April, the ice cream parlour will also reopen. Here you can buy artisanal farmhouse ice cream prepared by Ice Cream Farm "De Steenoven" in Hummelo.
