The beautiful City Hall of Vianen was built around 1425 and has been awarded as a national monument. The beautiful facade with battlements, built from Namur stone, is striking. On that facade you can see the coat of arms of Lexmond, Meerkerk, Hei- and Boeicop, Ameide, Vianen and Tienhoven.
Originally, the town hall consisted of a civic hall, which was also used as a market hall and a smaller space from which the city was administered and where justice was administered. At the beginning of the 21st century, the town hall is renovated, combining the old building with a modern design.
