From behind the counter of ‘The Smallest Shop in the Netherlands’ (only 5.5 square metres in size), bread, vegetables, cigars and cigarettes were sold by Bram and Aagje (Aagie) van Petten starting from the year it was founded. Bram’s bread cart still stands outside, and the counter and interior date back to 1890.
The cigars and cigarettes have been replaced by a rich assortment of sweets from grandma’s time. Here you can still buy ulevellen and stroopsoldaatjes. But also take a boat trip with the Smallest Tour Boat in the Netherlands.
