This museum has seven rooms. In these rooms you will find everything you want to know about fishing, sea animals, birds, unusual catches and maritime treasures. You can see how fishing has changed over the years, from the old wooden fishing boats to the modern fleet.
The aquariums are home to various North Sea fish and crustaceans and shellfish. You can also learn more about the life of fishermen and the dangers of the sea. There are interactive components and treasure hunts for children.
The museum is located right on the harbour of Breskens, which is ideal for exploring the fishing atmosphere outside after your visit.
