Boereiis ice cream farm - Akkrum
Since 1999, you can find ice cream farm Boereiis between Terherne and Akkrum. The fresh ice cream is made according to traditional methods from the fresh milk of their own cows and Italian ingredients. You can come here all year round for different types of ice cream, including sorbet ice cream and sugar-free ice cream. The fresh milk can also be tapped at the farmyard milk tap. Want to take home a souvenir or a nice gift? Then browse around the local shop. It sells, among other things, the artisanal Jinhuster advocaat, farmboys and Frisian cheeses.
Children can have a great time in the adventure farm's playground. Of course, the cows can be petted and you can take a look at the milking robot and the large agricultural machines. For a small fee, it is also possible to take a guided tour. Quite an experience!
