Blinckaert dune forest - Knokke-Heist
This nature reserve is rich in various plant and animal species. The dunes are covered with marram grass and other dune plants, while the forest area consists of deciduous and coniferous trees. The area is home to several bird species and with a bit of luck you will also come across other animals, such as rabbits and squirrels.
The nature reserve is easily accessible and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. In addition, the Blinckaert dune forest is accessible to everyone, with paths suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Information boards have been placed along the paths, telling you more about the area's flowers and plants and the extensive history of the dunes.
